Hope Valley is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to inspiring hope in the community. Through programs, partnerships, acts of kindness, volunteerism, prayer, and community support, we seek to create meaningful opportunities that encourage, uplift, and support individuals and families throughout Central Ohio.

No. Hope Valley no longer operates a wellness retreat center, event facility, or physical location.

While our model has evolved, our commitment to whole-person wellbeing remains unchanged. We continue to believe that emotional, mental, physical, relational, and spiritual wellbeing are deeply connected and play an important role in living a healthy, hope-filled life.

Although Hope Valley no longer provides wellness services directly, we continue to support and encourage opportunities that help individuals and families grow, heal, connect, and flourish. Wellness remains an important part of our philosophy and continues to influence the way we serve our community.

Today, Hope Valley serves the community through mission-driven programs, partnerships, volunteerism, prayer, and opportunities that inspire hope and support individuals and families throughout Central Ohio.

Priority consideration is given to individuals and families residing in Licking County, Ohio. While Hope Valley may occasionally partner with organizations serving the broader region, our programs are primarily intended to support residents throughout Central Ohio.

What is Hope Belongs?

Hope Belongs is a Hope Valley initiative that creates meaningful opportunities for individuals and families navigating learning differences, disabilities, caregiving responsibilities, and other unique life circumstances. Through experiences that encourage belonging, participation, personal growth, family connection, caregiver support, and improved quality of life, Hope Belongs seeks to remind people that they are seen, valued, and not alone.

Hope for the Holidays is a Hope Valley initiative that helps create meaningful holiday experiences, traditions, and opportunities for encouragement for caregivers, families, individuals experiencing grief and loss, military families, and others facing unique circumstances throughout the year.

Heroes for Hope is a first responder referral initiative that allows law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, dispatchers, corrections officers, and other approved public safety professionals to identify unique opportunities where Hope Valley may be able to inspire hope and provide meaningful support.

Hope Delivered is a Hope Valley initiative that provides personalized acts of encouragement, comfort, and support to individuals and families throughout our community.

Unlike other programs, Hope Delivered opportunities are identified and coordinated directly by Hope Valley.

Hope Makers are the volunteers, donors, sponsors, businesses, churches, organizations, and community partners who help bring Hope Valley's mission to life.

Hope Valley provides support through mission-driven programs designed to create meaningful opportunities that inspire hope, encouragement, connection, belonging, personal growth, and improved quality of life.

Several Hope Valley programs accept nominations or referrals, depending on the type of support being requested. We encourage you to review the program descriptions to determine which opportunity may be the best fit for your situation.

While every program is different, Hope Valley generally does not provide:

• Rent or mortgage assistance
• Utility assistance
• Cash assistance
• Debt repayment
• Medical bill assistance
• Insurance premium assistance
• Ongoing therapy or treatment costs
• Long-term financial support
• Case management services
• Crisis intervention services

Our programs are intended to provide meaningful opportunities and experiences rather than ongoing financial or emergency assistance.

Depending on the program, nominations may be submitted by the individual, a family member, caregiver, community member, first responder, or other approved referral source.

All nominations are reviewed individually based on program guidelines, mission alignment, available resources, community impact, and other relevant considerations. Submission of a nomination does not guarantee approval or funding.

While we wish we could support every request, Hope Valley must carefully evaluate nominations to ensure they align with the purpose and intent of each program.

No. Hope Valley is not an emergency assistance organization and does not provide crisis intervention services.

If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or contact the appropriate emergency service provider.

Absolutely. We welcome opportunities to collaborate with businesses, churches, civic groups, organizations, and community partners who share a desire to inspire hope within the community.

Volunteer opportunities may vary throughout the year and can include community outreach projects, Hope Delivered initiatives, special events, service opportunities, and other mission-related activities.

Prayer requests may be submitted through our website and will be handled with care, compassion, and respect.

Helping Others through Personal Experiences is central to our mission, and we recognize that one person's journey may encourage, strengthen, or inspire someone else who is walking through a similar season of life.

As part of certain programs and initiatives, Hope Valley may share stories, photos, updates, experiences, or outcomes that help illustrate the impact of the mission, celebrate meaningful moments, and inspire hope within the community.

Participation in Hope Valley programs may include opportunities for storytelling, community involvement, volunteer support, fundraising efforts, or public encouragement that help extend hope to others.
