About Hope Valley

Hope Valley is a faith-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to one simple mission: inspiring hope in the community.

We believe hope can show up in unexpected ways. Sometimes it arrives through an intentional act of kindness. Sometimes it comes through connection with someone who understands what you’re walking through. Sometimes it’s simply being reminded that you are seen, valued, and not alone.

That’s why we’re committed to Delivering Hope, one act of kindness at a time.

Hope Valley serves individuals and families throughout Licking County, with opportunities to extend our reach throughout Central Ohio. We come alongside people navigating illness, grief and loss, disabilities or learning differences, caregiving, difficult transitions, and other seasons when a little hope can make a meaningful difference.

At the heart of Hope Valley is something that’s been part of our story from the beginning: H.O.P.E. — Helping Others through Personal Experiences.

We believe our stories matter. The things we’ve walked through can become the very things that help us recognize someone else’s need, sit beside them in a difficult season, or remind them that they aren’t walking alone.

How We Deliver Hope

Through Hope Delivered, we respond to stories in our community with intentional, individualized acts of kindness. Through Heroes for Hope, we recognize and encourage the first responders who serve our communities. And through Experience Hope, we create opportunities for meaningful connection among people who share life experiences.

Sometimes a need comes to us through a nomination. Other times, we simply see an opportunity to bring hope and choose to respond.

Faith at Our Foundation

Our faith is at the foundation of who we are and why we serve.

We believe every person has value, every story matters, and hope has the power to change the way we walk through difficult seasons. We believe in prayer, community, compassion, and meeting people with kindness right where they are.

Hope Changes Things

Hope doesn’t always change the circumstance. But it can remind someone they aren’t facing it alone. It can bring light into a difficult season, create connection where there was isolation, and remind someone that their story still matters.
