Sometimes hope looks like encouragement arriving at just the right time. It might mean bringing comfort after a loss, creating a little joy for a family walking through a difficult season during a holiday, encouraging someone navigating illness, coming alongside an individual or family impacted by a disability or learning difference, or simply reminding someone in the middle of something hard that they are seen and not alone.
That’s Hope Delivered.
Hope Delivered is the heart of what we do at Hope Valley. Through nominations from friends, family members, neighbors, churches, schools, and community partners, we identify individuals and families who could use a tangible reminder that they are seen, valued, and not walking alone.
Our approach is personal because every story is different. Rather than offering a set menu of services, we listen to the story and look for a meaningful, practical way to deliver hope. What that looks like may be different for every person, because we believe the most meaningful acts of kindness begin by seeing the person behind the need.
Hope Delivered Boxes
One of the special ways we deliver hope is through our Hope Delivered Boxes. These personalized blessing boxes are thoughtfully created around the individual and the season they are walking through. They may offer comfort, encouragement, celebration, rest, or simply a collection of little things chosen to remind someone that they are known and cared for.
While a Hope Delivered Box may be the perfect expression of kindness for one person, sometimes hope looks a little different. Our team has the flexibility to thoughtfully create an experience or delivery that makes sense for the individual and their story.
Sometimes, Hope Valley Finds the Need
Not every act of kindness begins with a nomination. Sometimes Hope Valley sees a need in our community and simply chooses to respond. Through our relationships with local schools, churches, organizations, and community partners, we may identify opportunities to deliver hope without a formal nomination.
And sometimes, a nomination is only the beginning. As we learn more about an individual or family’s story, we may discover another way to bless them beyond what was originally suggested. Our team has the flexibility to shape each act of kindness around the person, their story, and what we believe will be most meaningful.

Who Can Be Nominated?
Hope Delivered is designed to encourage and support individuals and families walking through a challenging season or circumstance where a thoughtful act of kindness could make a meaningful difference.
Nominations may include, but are not limited to:
- Individuals or families navigating illness, grief, loss, or an unexpected or difficult season
- Caregivers carrying the physical and emotional weight of caring for someone they love
- Families impacted by disabilities or learning differences
- Individuals or families experiencing a significant life transition
- Military families experiencing deployment or extended separation
- Teachers, helpers, caregivers, and others who could use encouragement
- Community members whose story simply makes you think, They could use a little hope right now.
Hope Valley primarily serves individuals and families in Licking County Ohio, with limited opportunities to serve throughout Central Ohio as resources allow.
What Hope Delivered Is — and What It Isn’t
Instead, Hope Delivered focuses on intentional, individualized acts of kindness. Every nomination is considered individually, allowing our team to determine how Hope Valley can most meaningfully deliver hope within our mission and available resources.
Submitting a nomination does not guarantee that it will be selected or fulfilled.
